Gizmodo reports that the manufacturer of a children’s over-the-counter pain medication is pulling some of its products out of stores over concerns that the medication is too potent for infants. Tris Pharma has announced a voluntary recall of three lots of its infants’ liquid ibuprofen products. The recall includes store-branded 0.5-ounce bottles sold at Walmart, CVS, and Family Dollar stores. At this time, Tris Pharma says that it has not received any reports of adverse events or illnesses linked to the recalled lots.
