US President Donald Trump has pressed his case to get the 5.7 billion dollars he wants for a wall on the southern border.

The Democrat-controlled congress is refusing to fund the project, the stand-off leading to a partial government shutdown.

In Mexico, Central Americans hoping for asylum in the US have been following the President’s repeated calls for increased border security.
