A Central African Republic militia leader and politician has told the International Criminal Court that he was tortured after his arrest last month.

Alfred Yekatom - also known as Rambo - has appeared in front of judges at the ICC, accused of war crimes.

He was a senior leader of the mostly Christian 'Anti-Balaka' movement whose fighters attacked Muslim Seleka rebels in 2013.
