A car bomb has killed at least one person and wounded more than a dozen in the Iraqi town of al-Qaim on the Syrian border. The town is near one of the last Islamic State holdouts in Syria. Iraqi security forces said four of their members were among the wounded. The bomb went off in the middle of a busy market on Friday morning. Iraq declared victory over ISIL in December 2017 after two years of fighting. But ISIL militants have continued to carry out insurgent-style attacks on security forces across the country.
