Energy leaders from around the world are meeting in Houston, Texas, including Canada's Natural Resource Minister Amarjeet Sohi, who met with U.S. President Trump's Energy Secretary Rick Perry in an effort to have the administration push through the Keystone XL pipeline.

Canada is eager to move ahead on building and expanding pipelines that will carry Canadian oil to American refineries, as the country's LNG industry continues to stagger and as experts project the U.S. to become the world's largest oil exporting in the coming decade.
