Buildings were still underwater on Saturday, September 22, 2018 as flood waters from Hurricane Florence had still yet to subside in North Carolina.

Governor Roy Cooper cautioned people to avoid bodies of water and even to be careful on roads as the flooding risk continued.

At least 32 people are now confirmed to have died in the state in relation to the storm.
