The United Kingdom plans to build a 112-bed prison in Lagos to enable the government to transfer Nigerian prisoners from Britain to Nigeria. The deal is part of long drawn prison transfer talks between both countries. The proposed prison will be a wing in the popular Kiri Kiri prison in Lagos and it's estimated to cost around 973 Thousand U.S. dollars.
