Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels on Tuesday, as part of his first diplomatic excursions since his inauguration on May 20.

According to the Ukrainian president's press service, the two leaders are expected to discuss the ongoing security situation in east Ukraine and ways to ramp up international efforts to resolve the conflict in Donbas.

Zelensky and Juncker are also expected to exchange views on key reforms in the Eastern European nation.
