European Union leaders including Jean-Claud Juncker, Angela Merkel and Viktor Orban, attended the second day of the EU Council summit in Brussels on Friday, where new EU leadership posts are being debated but with attention centered on the European Union's Monetary Union.

Most European leaders were seen arriving to the Europa building and heading straight to the roundtable, avoiding the press after failing to reach a majority on any of the candidacies for the EU leadership posts.

The second day of meetings focusing on the European Monetary Union, counted with the presence of the President of the Eurogroup Mario Centeno.
