Canada and Poland signed in Brussels on Thursday a multinational effort for developing new generation of maritime anti-submarine, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft.

Rose Gottemoeller, NATO Deputy Secretary General, stated that "The concrete result will be new fleets of maritime multi-mission aircraft equipped for the 21st century and ultimately more secure Allied seas."
