According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, a spokesman for the French air accident investigation agency said that it may take several days to complete the first readings of the black boxes recovered from an Ethiopian Airlines jet that crashed after take-off. The Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety, referred to as the BEA, said that it would receive the flight data, along with cockpit voice recorders, later in the day, following a dispute regarding where the investigation would be held. The BEA spokesmann reportedly said the condition of the black boxes is still unknown, and that the first analyses could take anywhere between several hours and several days.
