After a dramatic end to his seven-year stay in Ecuador's London embassy, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is now locked up in Wandsworth Prison, one of England's eight high security jails. The 47-year-old Australian appeared in a court for breaching his British bail conditions and to face a subsequent U.S. extradition request. The United Nations human rights office has urged judicial authorities to ensure that Assange gets a fair trial. His extradition case on charges of computer hacking is set to be next heard by video-link at Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 2.
