Rapper ASAP Rocky has been charged with assault and will remain in custody until his trial in Sweden can begin, prosecutors said. The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was taken into custody on July 3 after allegedly fighting outside a restaurant in Stockholm while on tour. Slobodan Jovicic, ASAP Rocky's attorney, said at a press conference that his client was grateful for the support he's received from "a lot of different people." Celebrities and President Trump have rallied around him.
