The Africa Regional Data Cube was formally launched on Thursday in Kenya's capital Nairobi. This new tool is expected to harness the latest arth observation and satellite technology. The data will help Kenya, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Ghana, and Tanzania address food security as well as deforestation and water access. The launch will be followed by in-depth training for government representatives.
