The 5th C919 prototype completes its maiden test flight successfully

Aircraft 105, the fifth prototype of jumbo jet C919, took off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 10 a.m. on October 24. After a flight of one hour and 37 minutes, it completed its maiden test flight successfully.

The C919 is China's first domestically produced jumbo jet civil trunk plane with independent intellectual property rights, which means all the airplanes' key products were developed in China.
