The government on Wednesday gave its consent to the Defence Ministry to ensure funds from the state budget for costs of adding equipment and making necessary adjustments to 16 Kiowa Warrior helicopters, donated by the United States to Croatia.
"We have received support and we are reassured that we can count on cooperation with CIA and on exchange of data," the Bosnian Croat-Muslim Federation's Interior Minister Aljosa Campara said after the meeting in Sarajevo.
The project covers law enforcement officers from Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania as well as experts from Croatia, Great Britain, Austria, France, Italy and the USA.
Croatian Parliament Speaker Zeljko Reiner on Monday received US Ambassador Julieta Valls Noyes and said that Croatia would continue, bilaterally and within NATO, to contribute to US efforts in the fight against terrorism, parliament said in a press release.
