Number of visiting cruise ships in 11 months of 2016 higher than in 2015

In the first 11 months of 2016, 813 cruise ships visited Croatian ports, 45 more than in 2015, and aboard those vessels were 1.1 million passengers, around 40,000 more than in 2015, show statistics from the national statistical office (DZS).

Croatian air and sea ports report more arrivals

In February this year Croatian airports saw an increase in landings and take-offs as well as in the number of passengers compared to February 2015, and sea ports also reported an increase in the number of ships and passengers.

Ambassador says Brodosplit could build ships for Russia's commercial fleet

Russian Ambassador to Croatia Anvar Azimov visited the Brodosplit shipyard in Split on Wednesday, announcing the possibility of the dock being hired for the building of ships which will renew the Russian commercial and civilian fleet, Brodosplit said in a press release.
