Koncar reports HRK 173 million in profits

By the end of this year the Koncar concern will have earned consolidated revenues from the sale of products and services in the amount of HRK 2.8 billion as well as a consolidated pre-tax profit of HRK 173 million, CEO Darinko Bago said.

HEP earns HRK 1.2 bln in net profits, invests HRK 175 mln in H1

The HEP power supplier earned net profits in the amount of HRK 1.2 billion in the first half of 2016, which is HRK 276 million more than in the same period last year, and its investments grew by 73% to HRK 174.7 million, shows a financial statement released by that state-owned company.

Foreign-owned companies generate higher revenues, lower net income per employee

In 2015, the average revenue per employee in Croatian companies which are wholly domestically owned was nearly three times lower than the average in foreign-owned ones, but domestic companies netted nearly HRK 24,000 in income per employee, ten times more than foreign-owned ones, the Financial Agency has said.

Motorway toll revenues up 6.5% to HRK 2.4bn

Motorway operators in Croatia in 2015 earned HRK 2.4 billion from toll collection without VAT, which was 6.5% more than in 2014, according to figures provided by the Croatian Association of Toll Motorways Concessionaires (HUKA).
