Dodik: Croatia's claims of pollution from Bosnian refinery trumped up

ZAGREB, March 1 (Hina) -  Milorad Dodik, President of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb entity of Republika Srpska (RS), claims that there are no problems with the functioning of the oil refinery in Bosanski Brod, which is causing air pollution also in Slavonski Brod, a neighbouring town in Croatia across the Sava River, accusing Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic of falsely informing Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about this in Munich in February.

Unionists surprised by hiring of Deloitte to analyse refinery business

The trade unionists representing workers at the Sisak oil refinery on Thursday showed restraint in their comments, saying that they were taken by surprise by the INA management's decision to hire the Deloitte consulting firm to identify the best options for sustainable business in Sisak.

Rijeka Refinery residue upgrade plant being designed

Representatives of the Croatian oil company INA and Spain's Tecnicas Reunidas on Thursday signed a contract on the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for a residue upgrade plant in the Rijeka Refinery, whereby INA is continuing with preparations for a US$ 400 million investment in the refinery's modernisation.
