Sotheby's to open office in Croatia in January 2017

The auction house Sotheby's International Realty will open an office in Croatia in January 2017.

Real estate prices in Croatia down in Q2, up year-on-year

Croatia was among EU countries that reported the biggest drop in real estate prices in the second quarter of 2016 as against Q1, show data provided by the EU's statistical office Eurostat.

Croatia H1 average price of new flat per square metre EUR 1451

The average price of newly built flats in the first six months of this year was HRK 10,883 per square metre or HRK 697 less than in the corresponding period of 2015, show data from the national statistical office.

Croatia and two more EU members with house price fall in Q4 2015

In Q4 2015, the residential property price in Croatia, measured by the Eurostat House Price Index (HPI), decreased by 2.1% on the year. In Q3 2015, this fall was 3%.

Strong growth in real estate prices in Europe in Q4 2015

Real estate prices in most of Europe rose strongly again in the last quarter of 2015 and in Croatia the growth was twice as strong as in the preceding quarter, a Global Property Guide survey shows.
