Zagreb's Arena hall is ready for "Zagreb 360° New Year's Eve", ranked by DJ Mag music magazine as one of the five best biggest New Year's Eve parties with electronic music, at which 10,000 people from over 60 countries are expected, organisers said on Friday.

Josipovic's party will not participate in Sept 11 election

The Forward Croatia! - Progressive Alliance party, led by former President Ivo Josipovic, will not participate in the early parliamentary election set for September 11 because it has failed, due to lack of understanding and support by potential partners, to form the second centre-left camp that would run in the election as a coalition, Josipovic said on Friday.  

HDZ borrows from a few more private companies

Andrej Plenkovic, who is set to take the helm of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), on Friday received a report from the party's secretary-general Ivan Domagoj Milosevic regarding the party's operations in 2014 and 2015, which notes that the party took loans from several companies, the last of these being from the DIV company in December in the amount of HRK 1.4 million at an interest rate of 6%.

Sole candidate for HDZ leader collects 35,000 signatures for candidacy

The sole candidate for the new leader of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Andrej Plenkovic on Wednesday submitted his candidacy, supported by 35,000 signatures, to the party's election commission and announced the presentation of his programme for Friday.
