Record number of Europeans took part in Erasmus programme in 2015

A record number of 678,000 Europeans took advantage of the Erasmus exchange programme in 2015, the European Commission said Thursday in a report marking the 30th anniversary of the project.

Erasmus+, the European Union's biggest programme for education, training, youth and sport, was launched in 2014, and will last until 2020 and in this seven-year-period, over a billion kuna (approximately EUR 132 million) will be put at Croatia's disposal, assistant head of the Croatian Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, Ivana Puljiz has told Hina.
