Croat minority in Serbia marks one of its holidays, points to progress as well as problems

The Croat minority in Serbia celebrated one of its four national holidays at a ceremony held in Subotica on Friday, with its representatives pointing to the progress made with regard to the community's rights as well as to problems it was faced with due to worsened relations between Serbia and Croatia.

Serbian authorities and ethnic Croats disagree on level of protection of minority rights

The chairman of the Croatian National Council, Slaven Bacic, said that what Miscevic said was only partly true and that the legislative framework was relatively satisfactory.
