President visits cadets in Udbina winter camp

President and Supreme Commander Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Wednesday visited Croatian Military Academy cadets at a winter training camp in Udbina, the General Staff public relations office said.

Gen. Sundov: NATO conference in Split is important event for Croatia

The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Mirko Sundov, said in Split on Saturday that the NATO Military Committee conference which was taking place in this city was an important event for both Croatia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and would contribute to stability.

 NATO's highest military authority will meet in the Croatian coastal city of Split on Friday to discuss implementing the decisions taken by NATO heads of state or government at the alliance summit in Warsaw in July 2016 and will be hosted by the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Mirko Sundov.

Croatian Armed Forces presented Kiowa Warrior helicopters at Zemunik air base

The Croatian Armed Forces presented five new Kiowa Warrior helicopters at the air base in Zemunik near Zadar on Wednesday, with Defence Minister Josip Buljevic thanking the U.S. government for donating the helicopters and President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, who is the Armed Forces' Supreme Commander, stressing that the donation had both a military and a political dimension.
