Split County Court on Friday ruled that Dragan Vasiljkovic, suspected of war crimes, is to remain in investigative custody and has rejected a proposal of bail of HRK 5 million.
While out of custody, Mamic must comply with measures imposed by the court, including a ban on any contact with witnesses.
On Monday, the court accepted an amended bail motion for his father, who offered one property appraised at HRK 7.63 million and over HRK 6.3 million in cash.

Mario Mamic may be released from the Remetinec detention centre only after he posts 5 million kuna bail. Stipancic was set bail of 4 million kuna and Krota of 2 million kuna.
The case was referred to the trial court for reconsideration. Bail had been set at 12.4 million kuna (1.65 million euros).
It is still not known why the motion was rejected and a court spokesperson was expected to explain the reasons subsequently.
