Trump finally endorses Ryan, McCain in their re-election bids

After initially withholding his support, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump endorsed House Speaker Paul Ryan and Arizona Senator John McCain in their re-election bids, in a speech in Green Bay on Friday.

"Arm in arm, we will rescue the nation from the Obama-Clinton disaster," Trump said.

Trump previously said he was not ready to endorse the congressmen. Ryan had initially hesistated to back Trump's presidential bid, while McCain has been critical of the billionaire real estate mogul.

The Republicans hope to rally around a common goal: beating Hillary Clinton in the November election.
