Three dead in Toronto attack that police say involved a crossbow

Three people were killed Thursday on a residential street Toronto after an attack that authorities believe involved a crossbow.

Toronto Police first responded to a report of a man who was bleeding heavily from a suspected stab wound, according to news reports.

When they arrived they found two other people dead from what they believe were crossbow injuries, constable David Hopkinson said, according to the Toronto Sun. The man whose injuries first prompted the call to police also died.

Police confirmed to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that a fourth person, who has injuries, is in custody.
