State media: Turkish general in custody confesses to coup attempt

The alleged ringleader of Turkey's failed coup, former air force head Akin Ozturk, has confessed to being part of the putsch plot, the state-run Anadolu news agency reports.

Photos of Ozturk in custody have shown him bloodied and his ear bandaged.
