Magnitude-6.1 aftershock hits near first Ecuador earthquake

A magnitude-6.1 aftershock has struck off the coast of Ecuador, the US Geological Survey says, in the same area as the massive earthquake on Saturday.

The aftershock hit some 25 kilometres west of the coastal town of Muisne, the USGS says.
