Clinton says Trump is "loose cannon" who could "misfire"

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton calls Donald Trump a "loose cannon" and says the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party should now provide specifics on his proposals.

"He's a loose cannon and loose cannons tend to misfire," Clinton says in an interview with CNN.

The former US secretary of state says: "It's time to get serious. The man is the presumptive nominee. Being a loose cannon doesn't protect him from being asked the tough questions he should have been asked" by other Republican candidates.

"At some point when you are running for president you have to put a little meat on the bones," she says.
