About 100 inmates escape prison after Ecuador quake, minister says

Around 100 prisoners have escaped in Ecuador following the earthquake in the South American country.

Justice Minister Ecuador Ledy Zuniga announced the escape on Twitter, saying about 30 prisoners were recaptured in Portoviejo in the western province of Manabi, one of the most badly affected regions.
