Turkey's Education Ministry is suspending 15,200 employees in the wake of the failed coup attempt, CNN Turk reports.

100 people dismissed from Turkish intelligence service

Turkey has dismissed 100 employees of the intelligence service, known as MIT, in the wake of the failed coup attempt, the state-run Anadolu news agency reports.

The people dismissed did not have security clearances, the report says.

257 lose jobs in Turkish prime minister's office

In the latest wave of purges following the failed weekend coup, 257 employees of the prime minister's office have been removed from their posts, the Dogan news agency reports.
