With our new commercial strategy passengers can choose various modes of travel and prices for the Brussels-Zagreb return flight start at 89 euros , including all taxes , airlines director for central and eastern Europe  Andreas Weingartner said at a ceremony at Zagreb airport.
"We are glad that Brussels Airlines has recognised Zagreb's potential and has added us to its network and I believe that this will contribute to positive results and increase the number of passengers that Zagreb International Airport (MZLZ) is continuing to record since the beginning of the year,  a member of MZLZ's management board, David Gabelica, said.
Belgian Ambassador to Croatia Philippe Benoit also believes that this route is important for tourism and the economy and that it will boost already excellent relations between Belgium and Croatia.
Assistant Tourism Minister Davor Izakovic expressed satisfaction that more tourists from Belgium were coming to Croatia. By the end of this August, 140,000 Belgiums visited Croatia and generated 730,000 overnight stays which is an increase of 6% compared to last year, he said.
