Croatia record tourist arrivals, nights up in H1

In June 2016, commercial accommodation facilities in Croatia recorded 1.9 million tourists, up 0.1% on the year, and they accounted for nearly nine million nights (+2.5%), while in the first half of 2016, arrivals went up by nearly 3% and nights by 4.4%, the national statistical office said on Monday.

In the first half of the year, commercial accommodation facilities recorded 16.5 million nights, of which 88.6% by foreign tourists, who recorded 5.1% more nights than in the first half of 2015, while domestic tourists accounted for 11.4% of all nights (-0.5%).
