Sanja Jovanovic wins bronze at European Short Course Swimming Championships

Croatian swimmer Sanja Jovanovic has won a bronze medal in the 50-metre backstroke at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Netanya, Israel.

Jovanovic, who still holds the European record in the 50-metre backstroke, set in Istanbul in 2009, won the bronze medal with a time of 26.45.

The gold was won by Hungarian Katinka Hosszu (26.13) and the silver by Poland's Aleksandra Urbanczyk (26.27).
