Russian Olympic chief calls Klishina ban "cynical mockery"

Russia's Olympic Committee denounces the ban for Russian long jumper Darya Klishina from the Summer Games.

Committee president Alexander Shukov called the move a "cynical mockery by the IAAF" - the world athletics federation - Russian news agency Tass reports.

The IAAF decision was based on additional information that the federation had requested on Klishina, following the report that investigator Richard McLaren has drawn up for the global doping body WADA, Tass quoted an unnamed Russian sports official as saying.
