Pogba suspended for Manchester United's opening match of season

World-record signing Paul Pogba will miss Manchester United's first game of the season at Bournemouth, the FA confirmed on Friday.

The 23-year-old, who joined United from Juventus for 89 million pounds (116 million dollars), has a one-game suspension carried over from the Italian season.

Pogba is one of four players suspended, joining Robert Huth of champions Leicester, United team-mate Chris Smalling and Tottenham's Moussa Dembele.
