Therese Johaug of Norway on 1,384 points continues to lead the overall World Cup standings, ahead of compatriots Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg (1,245) and Weng (1,050).
Pellegrino clinched the men's 1.2km freestyle race in 2:15.12, ahead of French pair Baptiste Gros and Richard Jouve.
Martin Johnsrud Sundby of Norway leads the overall standings on 1,422 points, ahead of compatriots Finn Hagen Krogh (872) and Petter Northug (801).
