Handball: Croatia loses against Norway

In the first half the lead all time belongs to Croatia team In the first minutes Domagoj Djuvniak scored three times, one goal made Manuel Strlek. It was 7:3 for Zeljko Babic"s team in 11 minutes. 

But Norway couldn't loose this match if they dream about a good result on this tournament. They leveled a match after Espen Hansen"s goal seven minutes before the end of the first phase of the clash. It was a close fight up to the break - but after thirty minutes the Scandinavian team was one behind as the score was 16:17. 

At the begging of the second half Norway continued good performance. They made 4-1 series and made two goals advantage (20:18). Unfortunately they suffered a two-minute suspension and Croatia used the man-up situations to get back to the game, Zlatko Horvat turn shot a penalty beside to the goal and was 21:21. 

The match was decided in the last five minutes of the clash. It was 30:30 when Ivan Cupic scored in 55 minutes. But the next two goals netted Christian O"Sulivan additional one scored Sander Sagosen, making 33:30 for Norway side. Only 150 seconds left to the final whistle. Domagoj Djuvniak found a way to the break the Scandinavian defence but it wasn"t enough for winning over Norway on Sunday.

Croatia continues their Group B campaign against Iceland.
