Eintracht Frankfurt sign Croatia striker Rebic

Eintracht Frankfurt have signed Croatia striker Ante Rebic on loan from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina, the Bundesliga club said Tuesday.

Rebic, 22, meets up again with Frankfurt's Croatian coach Niko Kovac, who as former coach of the national team called the player up for the 2014 World Cup and played him in all the team's group games in Brazil.

Rebic, who was not in Croatia's Euro 2016 squad, has experience in Germany playing on loan for RB Leipzig in the second division in the 2014-2015 season.
