Del Potro beats Nadal to advance to Rio tennis final

Argentinian Juan Martin del Potro beats Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (5) to enter the final of the Olympic Summer Games.

Del Potro faces British Wimbledon winner Andy Murray in the match for gold on Sunday.

The Argentinian and Nadal, who won at the 2008 Games, delivered a thrilling match that lasted for 3 hours 8 minutes.

The Argentinian, who came back to competition from wrist surgery only in February, ousted world number one Novak Djokovic earlier in the Rio de Janeiro tournament.
