Croatia wins gold in Women's Long Jump at Rio Paralympics

Croatian athlete Mikela Ristoski has won the gold medal in the long jump at the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Four years ago Ristoski won the bronze medal in London and has now set a record, jumping 5.79 metres.

This is Croatia's fourth medal at the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro and the second gold. The first gold was won by Sandra Paovic in table tennis. Zoran Talic won the silver medal in the Men's Long Jump and Velimir Sandor won the bronze in the Men's Discus Throw.

Croatia now has a total of 18 medals won at Paralympic Games in all.
