Clarke wins canoe slalom gold for Britain

Britain's Joe Clarke captured gold in a tight finish in the canoe slalom at the Olympics on Wednesday.

Clarke, 23, qualified third fastest for the K1 final but posted a time of 88.53 seconds to take first place at the Whitewater Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Silver went to Slovenia's Peter Kauzer and bronze to Jiri Prskavec of the Czech Republic.
