Barcelona are poised to sell veteran goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to Manchester City, the club's sporting director Robert Fernandez said Saturday.
"We have reached the beginning of an agreement with City. This will be made concrete when we have signed another goalkeeper," Robert said.
Bravo, 33, joined Barca from Real Sociedad in 2014 and has helped the Catalans to win two Spanish leagues, two cups and one Champions League.
According to media reports, Barca are planning to replace Bravo with Ajax keeper Jasper Cillessen, 27.
Barca's other goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, is currently injured. Bravo was Barca's keeper in Saturday's 6-2 destruction of Real Betis.
The signing could herald the exit of England keeper Joe Hart at City.
Hart has been linked with a move from City after coach Pep Guardiola hinted he wanted a "sweeper-keeper" and said he would not stand in Hart's way if the England goalkeeper wanted to go.
