Albania bow out after Group F finale

Albania bowed out of Euro 2016 on Wednesday as they are now no longer able to finish among the four best third-placed sides to progress to the last 16.

Portugal finished third in Group F after a 3-3 draw with Hungary and picked up three points - like Group A's Albania - but have a better goal difference so advance.

With only Group E left to conclude later on Wednesday, Albania are assured of being one of the two worst third-placed sides. Turkey are clinging on because of a better goals scored tally than Albania.

List of teams so far qualified for the last 16:

France, Switzerland, Wales, England, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Northern Ireland, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Iceland, Portugal
