Science Picnic to be held in Zagreb on Dec 11-12

Numerous educators from Croatia and other countries will gather in Zagreb on December 11-12 for the Science Picnic, an event that popularises science - and show its visitors that science can be fun.

The event was organised by the Professor Balthazar association in partnership with the Rudjer Boskovic Institute, CARNet and the Network of Science Popularisers.

The event is the fourth such annual happening. The previous three Science Picnics were visited by more than 70,000 people.

Admission to programmes of the Science Picnic, which will be taking place at Pavilion 6 of the Zagreb Trade Fair Centre, is free.

The event is supported by the ministries of science, education and sports, tourism and culture and it will be held under the auspices of President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
