Public bike sharing system launched on island of Lastovo

A public bike sharing system has been introduced on the southern Croatian island of Lastovo, which thus joined a group of over 100 nextbike destinations worldwide, "Nextbike", a company that develops and operates public bike-sharing systems, has recently reported.

Users of this system can be registered in Lastovo, and they can use public bikes also in a dozen cities and towns in Croatia and in over 100 cities worldwide.

 Bikes in this scheme are available 24/7, and the usage in the first 30 minutes every day in free of charge.

Nextbike has two stations on this southern Croatian island.
