Two people were injured in clashes involving German and Ukrainian fans in Lille Sunday in more violence marring Euro 2016.
A police spokesman said around 40 German fans threw cans at Ukrainian fans in the centre of the northern French city. Two Ukrainians were treated in hospital.
Police were able to end the confrontation quickly, a spokeswoman for the local prefecture said.
The incident happened several hours ahead of Germany's 2-0 Group C victory over Ukraine in Lille.
