Turkish minister tells Germany to focus on Holocaust, not "slander"

Germany should focus on its role in atrocities during World War II, and not the Armenians during World War I, Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag says, according to state-run news agency Anadolu.

"You burn the Jews in the oven and then you get up to charge the Turkish people with genocide and slander them. Go look at your own history," he says in Sorgun, central Anatolia.

Other members of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) are also using the phrase "Hitler's grandchildren" when condemning those who supported the resolution in Germany.
