Russia denounces MH17 crash investigation as "politically motivated"

Russia's Foreign Ministry denounces the Dutch-led investigation into the MH17 airliner crash as "biased" and "politically motivated."

"The investigators continue to ignore irrefutable evidence from the Russian side, despite the fact that Russia is essentially the only one submitting credible information and disclosing all its new data," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says in a statement.

"It has become the norm for our Western colleagues to arbitrarily designate a guilty party and invent the desired results," Zakharova says.
